What is the 1000 Pip Club?

Answer:

Founded by world-class Forex Trader/Educator Jeff Langin, the 1000 Pip Club is a full-spectrum proprietary training program that avails student members a comprehensive understanding of the full spectrum of skills required to be stand-alone Forex traders.

Combining the essential ingredients of Fundamental and Chart Reading skills, the 1000 Pip Club provides the educational know-how for students to become Risk-Efficient and Market Savvy traders.

To be realistic, the Forex market cannot be consistently and effectively traded with any of a number of Get Rich Quick – aka, ‘High Risk’ schemes. Whether or not you’ve ‘been there and done that; the 1000 Pip Club provides the factual ‘Get Real’ education required to meet the serious challenges of the highly competitive and ever-evolving Forex market.

How does your program compare to others out there?

Answer:

The 1000 Pip Club training program provides the educational regimen required to be a stand-alone trader. It is realistic, in-depth and comprehensive. A 1000 Pip Club student will never again require indicators, robots, price alert services. Our training program in effect makes our students better and more knowledgeable traders than most of those who sell indicators and price alerts thus, there would simply be no need for that which your learning has outpaced and made obsolete. This makes for a tremendous amount of savings in term of money and security in terms of never again having the need to depend any anyone else’s system, ever again.

In addition there are no hidden price formulas or other fees associated with our training. We have no affiliation or agreements, written or other wise with any Forex Brokers. Save and except the right to advertise our services, we have no obligations to any second or third parties that would conflict with our mainstay interest; that of your training and education.

Question:

Can you explain what you mean by bargain basement levels?

Answer:

In order to take advantage of huge trending market movements we need to find near absolute bottom prices, i.e. the bargain basement levels which allow you to use minimal stop losses with maximum profit potential. The 1000 Pip Club training program will show you where and how to find these entries and when and how to execute them. Our goal is always a trade that will yields in the order of hundreds to thousands of pips per lot.

In this way, we teach you to be in trades of larger magnitude for longer periods of time in order for you to have a more flexible lifestyle and healthy well being aside from your trading. We believe that the crux of proficient trading is to strike a healthy balance between time spent trading and time spent with family as well other pursuits and activities. A healthy, focused and well-rested trader is conducive to healthy trading account growth, proficiency and accuracy through proper education.

Question:

Why do you place so much emphasis on Risk Management?

Answer:

Risk disclaimers are abundantly used by all Forex brokers, software providers and trainers; however, not many define “Risk Management” and how to substantially minimize it. Why do you use 1000 in your name? Does it represent 1000 pips per week or month or something else entirely?

Answer:

We chose the name 1000 Pip Club because both our methodology and our mindset focus on long term, highly profitable trades. Have you ever imagined risking 15 to 25 pips to achieve as many as 1000 pips or more? Identifying these types of trades and executing them is what you'll be taught at the 1000 Pip Club.

What do you mean when you say “there are leading indicators on our charts”?

Answer:

A key component of the 1000 Pip Club training program is the identification of leading indicators of major market reversals on the charts. You will be taught how to find them and how to exploit them in tandem with a general understanding of market fundamentals. This curriculum item on its own is worth more than the price of the entire program.

What is the cost of training and what does it include?

Answer:

Currently (until December 31, 2009) the fee for the entire course is $2,500 USD. This fee covers the entire cost of the training program, along with one year’s membership in the 1000 Pip Club, a $295 value. In January of 2010, the fee for the entire course will increase to a minimum of $3,500 USD.

Membership includes participation in periodic Market Analysis classes and updates via videos, live webinars and written updates. It also provides a forum for our advanced traders and access to many market resources.

Subsequent annual membership fees will be charged to the student after the first year. The current cost of the annual fee is $295 USD.

Question:

What is the next step for learning the Forex once I’m ready to move beyond the Free Basic program?

Answer:

In first quarter of 2010, we will be introducing an intermediate level paid program which will effectively create a smooth transition from the Free Basic program to the Advanced/Professional training currently offered on the 1000 Pip Club.

We are currently planning to call this intermediate level program KPC Cadet.

Question:

Why are you introducing the KPC Cadet training program?

Answer:

Originally, the 1000 Pip Club was designed as an advanced course. In delivering the advanced course, we found that many students were missing what we considered to be basic elements.

We had students arriving from various other entry level programs which were not up to the mark, and hence some students found it difficult to fully understand the advanced topics. These students often required extra help to be brought up to speed in order to fully understand the advanced topics.

In order to ensure that all students were receiving a comprehensive education at all levels, we are ensuring there are no ‘holes’ in a student’s education by introducing a complete ‘soup to nuts’ program.

How easy is it to learn and follow your training material?

Answer:

Currently, we have 40 training classes which comprehensively cover the entire advanced training program. In first quarter of 2010, we will be delivering an enhancement to this program that provides features for the student to cover and learn the material more quickly.

By purchasing the current advanced program for $2,500 USD by December 31, 2009, you will automatically be enrolled in the new program along with the KPC Cadet, a total of which will cost a minimum of $3,500 USD.

What are the payment options and when is payment due?

Answer:

Payment in full is due prior to gaining access to the program. Payment options include credit and debit cards and Paypal.

When does training begin?

Answer:

Training begins immediately once sign-up has been accomplished. You will be routed to the training pages where you can begin your study.

Why do you require my IP address to participate in the program?

Answer:

The 1000 Pip Club program is built on a proprietary methodology created by Jeff Langin. It is our intention to protect that methodology and ensure that only 1000 Pip Club members and students have access to it.

Question:

Can I use more than one IP address to access the training material?

Answer:

We allow only one IP address per student. We recommend that you provide your home IP address as it may be more conducive to study and learning. If you require any further clarifications, please contact webmaster@1000pipclub.com

Question:

My only concern is being out of town on business or traveling and missing the live sessions. Will the webinars be archived?

Answer:

While most of the training is pre-recorded videos, there are some live classes from time to time. Every one of these classes are recorded and posted for students to review at their convenience.

Question:

Does your training require any specific software or hardware other than a PC and broadband Internet?

Answer:

Aside from your current Internet hook up you will not need any other computer hardware or tools. However, for participation in some of the classes, it is recommended that you also have a headset with microphone. Our training videos are best viewed using Internet Explorer 8.0

It is also recommended that each student obtain and download the FXCM trading station (demo-only required) and the standard Market Scope charting package which will interface exactly with what is used during the live classes.

Question:

I am new to Forex Trading. Is there any prerequisite experience required?

Answer:

The 1000 Pip Club now provides with a one-stop training program by introducing the Free Basic and KPC Cadet training programs. For further details, please review the questions above.

The Free Basic Training Resource area is for entry level traders. We recommend that you study this material and participate in the Free Weekly Currency Analysis classes first. When you are ready, please feel free to sign up for the 1000 Pip Club programs.

Besides the training program, do you have a dedicated forum or board for interaction between the traders?

Answer:

Currently, we have a 1000 Pip Club Yahoo board for the advanced students. We are in the process of significantly enhancing student interaction by introducing a dedicated forum on the 1000 Pip Club website for the advanced students (KPC Pro).

We will also introduce a forum on the 1000 Pip Club for the KPC Cadet program.

Finally, we are planning to introduce on the 1000 Pip Club a forum for the members of the Free Basic class to submit their Monday night trade plans, and discuss other topics in general.

These forums will offer advanced search capabilities and quicker response times (generally) to issues and questions. Furthermore, it will provide a knowledge repository for Forex intelligence and students joining us in the future.

Are there any terms of agreement we'll need to sign prior to the training?

Answer:

Yes, a copy of the terms of agreement is provided during the signup process.

The primary stipulation of the terms of agreement will be that students do not live-trade until they have a comprehensive understanding and have developed a proficient degree of confidence. Students can live trade any other trading system as they wish. However, until an adequate level of understanding, practice and confidence is achieved from the 1000 Pip Club program, the student must restrict himself/herself to demo trading. The training is intense and broad in scope and thus needs to be fully understood through practice.

What tools, books or other resources will I need to purchase?

Answer:

You will not need to buy any other training resources. This program is built on training you to be independent, and does not need to be augmented with other resources. This means the program fee is all inclusive in terms of training resources. It saves you both time and money.

Does the program include any indicators or formulas that will not be given to the students?

Answer:

No, you will be taught to be a stand-alone trader, secure in your own ability to locate your own price alerts for your present and future security as an independent, stand-alone trader. There are no hidden formulas or secrets held back from students.

Question:

What hours or trading sessions do you recommend?

Answer:

One of the basic principles of the 1000 Pip Club training program is that traders stay both physiologically and psychologically healthy in order to have the mental focus that's required when examining a prospective trade execution.

During the course, students are taught that just as many good trading opportunities with large pip potential occur during the North American Sessions and Asian Sessions as those that occur during the Euro Session. The myth that trading in any part of the world is better than another part of the world is simply a myth and there is no justification for it.

Traders' anxieties about getting up in the middle of the night to trade are set aside when they go through the course and realize that there are good trades in the market in virtually any session. You do not need to use night time price alarms to be a successful trader and these are placed only in the 'optional' category for any of those who care to use them.
